Cracky hotel with crooky manager

Unfortunately the new owners in 2024 run a real sketchy operation. Billing, breakfast, and a make believe pool tops the list but the arguing with customers in the face of the facts takes the cake. It is unfortunate, because my family always liked the location and price. The place took a nose dive in 2024.

What a big ass lie this video brochure is. This ghetto “resort” was an absolute joke for a long time. I could go on and on about fire/electrical hazards, faulty fixtures, inadequate climate control, infestations, lack of cleanliness, and flat out incompetence. For the record, it has now been permanently shut down and half demolished for years.

This is not a updated video... look at my review of the eceno lodge / Quality Inn, thats the name now... the place is currently crumbling in on it's self and getting people sick but dont take my word for it the updated reviews are on my video.

This Advertisement video is Hilarious! I was working front desk at this place around the same time this video was made, 7 years ago. This place was such a dump and the management were such twacked twats and totally incompetent at that time . The rooms were so nasty and furnishings outdatedand beat to hell. Staff who weren't part of Management's little cadre of old cunts and crones were abused and overworked an underpaid. My wife worked in housekeeping around the same time and actually got blood poisoning and nearly died from working in the shithole of a laundry they have on site that'was full of rats, bats, bed bugs and God knows what else at that time. I also bartended in that Lounge and I don't know when they took that photo but that dark depressing alcoholics armpit sure didn't look that charming then, nor any other of the totally fantasy photography photo clips they showed in that little video. I know little about the state of the place now from the few people who hung on working there to present day, so have no opinion on the state of the place or the "quality" of the inn these days though I hear the new owners are just as cheap and neglect the few loyal employees that they have left.No surprise there ! since 60% of the hotels in the United States are owned by a certain specific group of folks who's culture is notorious for its avaricious,pleonectic,covetous, unethical slumlord behaviors and rudeness.

I've stayed there a couple times over the years with a good night. Last time was just last week and the appliances were looking rather worn and nasty. AC worked great. Only one thing, with buildings collapsing these past couple years, they really need to look into the slight sag on the balcony in the back - in the back by the large open field. Better safe than sorry.

I just saw a video on u-tube showing how neglected and how filthy this hotel is, What I saw, I'm surprised the Rutland board of health hadn't shut it down. I'm planing a trip soon and I'm definitely not going to stay there. When I used to go there that was the hotel I stayed at everytime. Not anymore. I'm disappointed the Holiday Inn would allow any of there hotels get this run down. I'm going to think twice before I check into a Holiday Inn Hotel again. I'm so disappointed.

Great Hotel to Stay at. The General Manager Amena is Very pleasant to talk to and very Helpful. Lots of Good Changes here. The Front Check in area, has an Amazing Staff working here. Bailey and Shaina ARE the BEST, MOST PROFESSIONAL and HELPFUL Staff, "Ladies" that I have Ever met in the Hotel Business. VERY, VERY PROFESSIONAL Compared to Other Hotels in this Area as well as Other Hotels from Maryland to Florida. The Housekeeping Staff does a Great Job Cleaning the Rooms that I have stayed in. NO PROBLEMS. The Maintenance Man Jay, fixes things Quickly compared to other Hotels that I have stayed at. Thanks to EVERYONE who works here🙏 GOD BLESS EVERYONE 🙏.....

Its not nice like this anymore! More like a roughing it camping out in a motel experience.Bring your own cleaning supplies,you'll need them and lets hope things like bugs n bears dont bother you.Dont expect to use the pool either.its usually closed.
